To celebrate my birthday my best friend in LA, Alex Hopkins joined me to enjoy the magical Californian world of Disney on Wednesday, July 15! If you don’t already know, I am a huge fan of imaginary lands filled with people that are fake happy. Even more important to this trip was that we found a connection that was able to get us a dinner reservation at Club 33!

img_1132In case you don’t already know, Club 33 is secret and exclusive club inside Disneyland’s New Orleans Square. I say exclusive because if you were to try and sign up, they would tell you that the current wait-list is 14 years to be accepted. Make sure you click the link to read all the details. This was my first experience at a 4 Star restaurant. An interesting part of the process going there is that you go to customer relations after parking and from there you tell them the name on your reservation. From there you are provided a park hopper, you don’t pay a single penny. Then you enjoy the entire day in the park and approach the door you see Alex and I wihch has no markings other than the 33 on the side. You can see alex buzzing the intercom. They will ask you what the name is on the reservation and if it is on the list, they allow you to enter. There is a very strict dress code and we actually watched two separate parties get rejected because they weren’t dressed properly. Luckily Alex and I were prepared with a change of clothes! Next you enter a small room that has a lift that comes down to take you up to the restaurant. Once inside it is all glamour! The food was spectacular and the deserts were wonderful! Each soda they brought me had a cherry (what a cheap and nice way to please your customers). Even the bathroom was immaculate. ┬áHere are the photos and a video from inside Club 33.
